Plan across communities
Destinations, trip guides and events that cross municipal boundaries instead of stopping at one town.

Business & Local Platforms
An independent hub joining Central Ontario’s destinations, trip guides, events and tourism businesses.
The project
CentralOntario.ca brings the region’s destinations, trip guides, events and tourism businesses into one place, so a visitor can plan a trip across more than one community.
Muskoka, Parry Sound, Simcoe County, Southern Georgian Bay, the Haliburton Highlands, the Kawarthas and Algonquin share a geography, a season and an audience, but the information a visitor needs usually stops at a municipal boundary. The hub joins those pieces together: destination and trip content is written in-house, while listings and events come from the operators and organizers themselves and are reviewed before publishing. Activity on the hub is recorded and reported to operators, partners and funders as aggregates.
Visitors planning a multi-community trip in Central Ontario, and the tourism operators, partners and funders who serve the region.

Businesses and organizers submit their own listings and events, each reviewed before it is published.
Searches, views, saved places and outbound clicks are recorded and reported as aggregates to operators and partners.
